Reviews for Until Proven Innocent
P.T. Tucker chapter 1 . 6/20/2018
Love how clever Harry was in this. Managed to free Snape AND clear his own name! lol I love how Fudge just seems to lose it too and now HE looks like the one that's deranged.
slytherinsal chapter 1 . 1/19/2018
nice
riverrat1 chapter 1 . 11/14/2017
Brilliant, the way you had Harry tip-toe around the fact that Severus Snape is a spy. I can just see Severus sitting on his chair holding his breath.
I also loved how you explained the various stages of Harry being under Veritaserum and how he used it to tell the truth at the end to make Fudge look like an idiot.
Great style of writing and you kept everyone in character.
Lucinda Hindle chapter 1 . 9/29/2017
Yep, it was brilliant, now wasn't it? I liked this though I can't say that I loved it...
CynthiaW chapter 1 . 10/27/2016
Great story, here! It seems that Voldemort realized Snape was a spy and had Lucius set him up for a kangaroo court conviction, like the one that failed against Harry. One quick canon issue, though: in fifth year, Harry was fifteen, not sixteen. He has a summer birthday, July 31. The only fifth years that should already be sixteen are those with birthdays after September 1 and before the end of the school year. Other than that, I liked how you set up the reason Harry testified on Snape's behalf. And Snape thinking Harry testifying would expose the Order was classic Snape. The man would rather face the Dementor's Kiss than risk their losing this war. Harry managing to circumvent the Veritaserum was clever. He told the truth, just not ALL of the truth. Snape did call the lessons Remedial Potions, specifically to embarrass Harry. That he wasn't being tutored in Potions is beside the point in terms of Snape's guilt or innocence. All that matters is that Snape couldn't be in two places at once, especially two places hundreds of miles apart. And Harry managed to slip in the fact that Voldemort was back before the Veritaserum wore off. Fudge now looks like a fool. I wonder if Harry could push for a trial for Sirius, now... Sirius wouldn't object to taking Veritaserum to prove his innocence, so they could use it.

P chapter 1 . 5/14/2014
Yes, yes, YES! Oh, I was on the verge of my seat at moments... There's nothing like good court drama. I enjoyed it very much.
I'm amazed how you managed to keep everyone in character (Hermione was my favorite, it was SO HER!); the whole story has very much Rowling-like style. Great job! :)
AllieOfGreenGables chapter 1 . 3/10/2014
That was cunning. Harry should get a Slytherin Prize of Slytherinness for those answers. Very cool.
