Just yesterday I finished rereading Just Like Heroin.
I read it the first time like, 10 years ago? And stopped reading fics altogether around 2014.
I don’t know why… Maybe because the world is a little crazier, or because I spend even more time at home, but suddenly I felt this urge to reread my favorite fics. Yours was one of them.
Regarding the story, I just wanted to tell you that I LOVE it. I love the world you created, I love your own characters, Silo, Haruka, Majik and Othello, I love that Naruto (eventually) realizes that he loves Sasuke on another level, and how romantic he is (asking him on dates, calling him, wanting to look good for him… like, totally committed to making things work between them), I love Itachi and Hidan. I love how your writing style improves, too!
But even more than that, I wanted to THANK you: thank you for taking the time to be vulnerable, to share a part of you, a piece of your mind and imagination. Thank you for taking the time to write this wonderful story, even though you were busy with school, and had anxiety issues. For bringing us readers joy and drama and love and making us feel a mixture of emotions while we read you. For creating a story that can be enjoyed, but also makes us reflect on different situations (epiphanies are too personal so I won’t give examples).
It takes a lot of courage to write, to expose yourself to the positive and negative comments. Your fic is not “just a fic”. Yeah, of course the characters are based on the manga… But you created a WHOLE NEW THING. This goes beyond Naruto. You did a great job, and I really hope you feel proud of your creation.

Ahh what a trip down memory lane this was! I remember reading this story, must be 10 years ago when I was first in the fandom. How wonderful to reread it now. I really liked your story but the only thing that I didn’t like was Majik not ending up with silo or silo, Majik and Haruko all together . It made me said but it’s a really good story

I liked the beginning of this story but I sort of just skimmed over the second half of it after Sasuke was in the coma because the fact that he was in a coma for nine years made me too sad so I just had to stop reading but I love the beginning of it
