Omg, I do cry at quite a few sad stories but I sobbed just as hard at this story as I did for every single episode of "violet evergarden". I hate to cry but I can't seem to stop reading stories like this.

Umm, haha, can't really say much about this. I really liked how you adapted the story and the way you described everything, but this is the same story as from a manga with the concubine "hanabishi" and the patterned sugar cubes. Not an original, but I think you did pretty well on this :)
