1. Is the concussed person staying awake thing really a myth? I would like to get my facts straight.

2. Once the patient is awake the breathing tube HAS to be taken out because of gag-reflex. But while they are unconscious, their gag-reflex is not present, so the tube can be in.

Hemorrhagic shock is caused by a traumatic injury. Hypovolemic shock is caused by internal bleeding only. So really he should have suffered from both. Just a random thing I learned yesterday and really wanted to tell someone so you just happened to be the person unlucky enough to have written a story that I could apply my newfound info to. I must say, I really like your story a good deal. I've been weeding out my favorites so I can have a shorter list that is easier for me to navigate, and I ran across your story again and I still really like it. It is a bit sadder than I like but you wrote it quite well. Thanks.

A touching story. I am glad Daniel survived in the end. I might have cried otherwise. Poor Jack. Hopefully he will mend his relationship with Daniel now, seeing as he got a look into the brilliant mind of Daniel Jackson.

I somehow missed this one. Sorry about that. You know I love your stuff. Anyway, great story. Nice way to deal with a story line I never really understood (why D & J were so mean to each other in seasons 4-5.)
