I know this is quite old, but I recently discovered it and I just HAD to tell you how great it was! I loved it, and I'm glad I did because there aren't many Tamaki/Haruhi fics out there that I really like!

This is by far one of the most beautiful pieces I've ever had the pleasure of reading. You really and truly capture the spirit of OHSHC, and the characters. You don't romantisize them into perfect beings that ooze their affections at each other with large gooey eyes (well.. Technically Tamaki DOES shower those around him with love, but not the point.) You stick to them as people, being what and who they are. There are also several insights I quite enjoyed- especially the Twins. A lot of people only credit Haruhi, but you're right that it was really Tamaki that did it first. I also really enjoy the way you portray Haruhi's love for Tamaki- true, love is there in her heart, but she really THINKS about it.

In short, this piece is nothing short of brilliant and utterly wonderful. Keep up the great work!

the description about tamaki being the ringleader and weaving his magic and all, is absolutely priceless. i've always liked tamaki, even before i finished the anime, because he's this extravagant guy who's just a kid inside and can't help but evoke such emotions from those around him. you've shown clearly the two sides of him that blur and become one when somebody really looks at the Host Club King. splendid, is what this is!

of course, that "method in tamaki's madness," shakespeare, right? i'm a sucker for fics that can include shakespeare and morph the lines into the general feel of the story.
