Nicely done. This is a great piece and captures that time perfectly. Oh, if only they knew what was coming LOL. Favorite parts:

It had taken months before he could lie in bed and stare at the ceiling without seeing Jessica there, demanding 'why' and burning. But at some point, the ceiling itself had stopped haunting him even if Jessica never would.

Sam knew that voice. It was the voice of no questions. Of don't look back, of move forward. Repress.

To his surprise, he saw Dean smile, truly smile all the way to his eyes, and Sam felt something unknot in his stomach. "You do, Sammy. Every day."

Sam would get back his memories in a traumatic way. Dean should probably have told Sam that the demon shot him and remembering wouldn't have been so traumatic.

hmmm always thought the aftermath of BUABS was a bit quick...this nicely fills the hole...notice how he's not i the least torn up about the incident with Jo...strangely i find that spot on and really funny.

I thought this was done wonderfully. Those boys are so bruised on the inside, and that never seems to get enough airtime.

Dean would absolutely try to prevent Sam knowing what he'd done, and I would imagine that he would be wary of Sam for some time to come.

I personally think that Sam will remember everything - Meg is far too sadistic not to have kept Sam awake during all this, but I liked how you made it come to him in dreams.

Good job on this. It bothered me that so far Sam's possession hasn't been addressed on the show. I would imagine that it would be terrifying for him and that he would have to do some healing from it, Dean too. Thanks for filling in the gap here.

I like it alot, dean is a good older bro. You should write a story like this with sam weak/sick, maybe the night of the fire. What happens after he closes the trunk. You would do a good job with it, Dean could try to make sam feel better. GOOD JOB.
