Ok since i saw some reviews about priest marrying i did research on it and indeed catholic priest arent allowed to marry but in some countries priests are allowed to marry and even some married guy are asked to become a priest but retained their married life. Anyway if john being a priest is the problem there is another solution but of course he would have to sacrifice his priesthood.

Love this story, hope to see more john/masako fics from you and i love how that nurse mistook the situation of john being masako's boyfriend. Haha

Just information about Catholic priests and their ability to marry.

Roman Catholic priests are not allowed to marry because they take an oath at the time they become priest to remain celibate. There are other rites in Catholicism that allows priests to marry, but in the Latin rite (Roman Catholic, which John is from), priests can not marry.

Honestly, I think everyone should give Masako a break. Almost all of the fics I've read here in depicts her as a snob (and I'm not saying she isn't) and a prima donna. Which is true, but COME ON, the girl is rejected. What would you feel if you were? ~carried away~

Masako is my second favorite (after Lin) in this series (whoa!). I don't know, she seems more realistic and... human... than the others. But then again, that's just me.

To correct the correcter: Catholic priests do marry. Most don't, but if you knew your history you would know that when marrying was allowed then quickly stopped a group branched off. Its mostly Roman Catholics that keep it up. But YES Catholic priest CAN marry(depending)
