Okay, this was gold, I hit the fav button about halfway through this chapter. The idea of Roy talking to Hughes' ghost is awesome, and the witty banter you wrote for them is spectacular. I was already enjoying this fic just fine... but damn you've got me enthuzed!

The technical aspect of this fic are all flawless. I know you said that this is a pwp, but for me, it actually had a plot, which, during the first half, you have executed pretty well. However, it kind of became repetitive after Chapter 7. And may I just add. The smut in that chapter was so hot and tasteful. Good job on that. There were times that Roy and Riza were kind of OOC, but I guess it's okay. There were somethings which irked me, though. Like when Roy said things that made Riza feel bad about herself and him only having the courage to tell her he loves her if she would only admit it first. I meant no offense with these comments. Sorry if they may have offended you. But nonetheless, this fic is compelling. Thanks for sharing this! :)

So I'm a few years late to the party, but not only is your fic incredibly hot - it's very well written. I love the plot, the pacing, and Roy talking to Hughes. That's pretty much my headcannon now. Great job on the story!

My answers to your questions:
1. The second lemon very, very GOOD. It wasn't too long or detailed (unless you mean too much for , which I think yes, it was a little too much), it was just perfect as you left it.
2. The angst was enough, I was expecting less at the beginning so it surprised me a little to see where the story was headed.
3. I think Riza was too insecure many times when I don't picture her like that. And I don't think Roy would have apologized for yelling at her in the hospital when he was rightfully scolding her for having given up.
4. That was alright.

I would have liked an explanation for Roy going crazy and seeing people. Does it ever stop? Will this haunt him for the rest of his life?
Over all I really enjoyed the fic, half of it or maybe even more was all about sex, but you still gave us a story so it's not a PWP. I'm interested in reading your other works so I'll search for them, too. Thanks for sharing!

dude, it was awesome. I thought you captured Riza's character well except for when she's getting down and dirty. Then it she seems to change into a much... weaker figure. But I loved the story, loved the characters, great ending with pride.
