Very good story!

I like your story more then I expected to be honest, I basically know nothing about FF8 or any other FF, so wasn't sure how that would work. You tend to do a fairly good job with the characters, but there are some plot holes that are frustrating.

I have a really hard time buying the scenario in chapter 7. You made claims about how powerful Dumbledore is, but really I have difficulty seeing how he would deal with terra magic. He simply doesn't have the right kind of defenses, not to mention a complete lack of physical capability. As some have said, the first Obliviation was unfun, but I could buy it, but doing again just really poisons things. It makes it really obvious that you are contriving things to remove Harry's powerups so that you can keep things fairly close to cannon.

This is complicated by the fact you seemed to have ignored what you did, so Harry runs off yelling about how Dumbledore was trying to obliviate him, and then suddenly he turns back up as school with no apparent memory of that and a bunch of other things. How retarded are all of the teachers and students. Not to mention, as some other reviewers have said, there is no real reason Harry has to go to Hogwarts, there are other schools out there.

So all in all, I like the story, and I will likely read the next one, but there are some major plot holes that could be better done. Thanks for sharing your work, and I know this is an old story, so you have likely much improved since then, but I try to leave reviews when I can.

man this is stressing. When will dumbledor learn he is going to lose. however you did do well with this. Most stories make dumbledor frustrated and he can't do anything or takes no action. Just word bantor.

man this is getting intense and we dont know dumbledor's power level plus harry can't use most his magic.

Maybe he can go with someone from terra if he doesn't go with tonks.
