Awesome, totally awesome. Is it wrong to feel kind of sorry for the Joker? I could just hug him... and slap Bruce for being so mean to him. I mean, really, he's his worst enemy nemesis blah blah blah who kills without a second or sometimes even a first thought and he had him there unable to move or anything, but he didn't kill him - if that isn't love, I don't know what is. *-* Bruce, you're an idiot.

Beautifully written, spot-on characterization, entertaining dialogue, and an intriguing purposal. Too bad it's just a one-shot because it's got great potential as a multi-chapter fic. Still, bravo! You've made a fantastic story.

Very well done. You capture the Joker well here and managed to make him behave tastefully seductive. The fact that Joker knew Bats well enough to prepare a subduing drug and throw into the works was a nice touch, especially the way it was incorporated into the rose and the fact that it was technically bats' falt that he came into contact with it.

The warm mood and atmosphere you create is nice, it works with the soft, romantic theme of the story.

I think Batmans reaction to Jokers advances were convincing. The defiance is there but also the curiousity and the evidence of the bond and closness that both Batman and Joker share, making him hesitant and unsure if he wants this or not.

The Jokers moment of hurt was nice but brief enough to be true to character.

Overall a brilliant fic. I know this is a relatively old story and intended to be a oneshot but it would be nice to have more chapters. You write the characters well enough and the asthetic quality you create to the scenes work and are a warm break from the seemingly cold or drab environments they are usually seen in. There is also a niche in the fandom for those who are willing to write comicverse Batman/Joker and there's a want for it too.

Wow. This was gorgeous and strangely moving. I loved how you introduced the notion that Joker can indeed love Batman, despite his being a psychopath. You made it seem very convincing. I would love to see another chapter, where Bruce finds himself responding to Joker's invitation, despite knowing that he shouldn't. That would be so lovely... :)
