Great story! It has me wishing there were more Bones/Stargate crossovers to read. Unfortunately, aside from a couple one-shots, your story seems to be the only one, on this site anyway.

Even given my own feelings about some of the pairings you’re using in this story- I’m more of a Sam/Daniel fan myself as Jack/Sam never entirely made sense to me, and the idea of Booth and Brennan TALKING about them being in a relationship doesn’t really fit the way I’ve always seen them as working in a state of semi-denial about their feelings (Even BEFORE Brennan screwed things up in “Parts in the Sum of the Whole”; I still blame that ep for the current mess with Hannah)-, you’ve certainly got an interesting bit of work here; nice job.

The circumstances under which Booth and Brennan were introduced to Jack and Sam made perfect sense, and the subsequent investigation as the SGC call in the ‘squint squad’ to tackle the forensics work of the current investigation was another example of a natural progression of events; as Daniel pointed out, they’re more used to dealing with political conspiracies rather than comparatively conventional murders.

As far as the case itself goes, while I think that bringing Janet back to life undermines the scale of her sacrifice in the battle of P3X-666, the essential idea works, and it certainly makes sense that Ba’al would abduct SGC staff for his own purposes, and the subsequent trip to Ba’al’s lab certainly allowed for some interesting moments as Brennan’s forced to face her fears about being separated from Booth along with some very interesting insight from other people who’ve been in a similar situation to the one she’s found herself in...

All in all, apart from some minor ambiguities about characterisation- most of which are based on my own personal favourite relationships rather than any flaws on your part-, as well as a slight regret that Booth and Ba’al never came face-to-face, you’ve definitely got an excellent plot here; keep up the interesting work!

At millitary social events such as the one you describe the usual rules reqarding saluting and such things are considred to be not nessicary. And you forgot that Booth would have known Jacks rank by his uniform as soon as he walked up.

Wow - I read through this in one sitting; I am a Bones fan, and although I know very little about the Stargate series (other than having seen the movie and knowing Richard Dean Anderson was on the series) I very much enjoyed reading your story! I liked the interaction between the two teams, and the overall concept and storyline were so engaging for me! I will definitely read the sequel - the epilogue definitely piqued my interest.

Who the hell is Kirk? Captain Kirk?

I just wanted to say that I have never watched SG-1. But, I absolutely loved your story. It was very easy to follow even without having watched SG-1. You did an awesome job! You did such a good job you have enticed me into going to watch SG-1.

Brennen might not have military training but she's well versed in combat, both hand to hand and weapons so technically she could go and with Booth on the line i don't think she'd have too much problems following orders if it meant she got Booth back. It must be hard for her though, she doesn't allow herself to get close to people. I bet she really hates the not knowing.
