Angel Sanctuary is SO GOOD, YASSSS! I love your take on an earlier aspect of their budding "relationship," and I agree that Sara's feelings developed a little differently than Setsuna's. Their love is both tragic and beautiful (and definitely not one to condone), and you captured the more "innocent" side to it quite well :)

I loved reading this story! It was very cute and I can see them interacting that way as if it was in the manga!

I rather enjoyed your story, and overall I thought it was pretty good, the cut didn't seem abrupt to me, well placed and served it's purpose very well. I did, however, have some objections regarding the characterization. For one I think that Setsuna's fear of tainting Sarah or making her hate him was much too strong for him to let go that way in front of her, coupled with his own inability to believe she could love him back I have a hard time seeing him giving in to his emotions that way. As for Sarah's own feelings, I don't think she really realized what his feelings were for her until the events of the manga either, and in turn that's why she neer showed her own feelings to him, contenting with being just his sister, but from the flashbacks, particularly everything concerning the ring, I thought it was clear that she'd had feelings for him all along as well, but as you said, she just never showed the depth of them, until the events of the manga. Mind you, that is just my own interpretation, so it might very well be flawed. I think if they'd had an event like this one they would have both come to realize and share each other's feelings much sooner, which would make an interesting take on the story really.

SxS is one of my all time favorite OTP though, so I might just be too obssessive about the details, I really loved your story, and despite my above objections I still thought that the characterization was very nice all in all, I could actually imagine a younger Setsuna with less control over his emotions giving in actually, so in that it was very good, and I really enjoyed how playful you made them. I think your description at the end is realyl perfect, they truly are the epitome of what love should be between two people, and I think you captured that essence in your fic.

That was really good, I liked the playfulness of them, but you kinda made your words kinda quick and that I kinda got me of track. Other then that, it was really good.

The desperation, angst and blankness that Setusna feels considering the fact, that his love for Sara is one-sided and impossible are really impressive in your story.
