This is probably my third time reading this. Don't think I've reviewed, so I'm here to rectify that!

I really enjoyed this story. I think you ended it in the perfect way: sometimes the endings to these whump/angst-heavy stories can be a bit cheesy. But it all felt very natural and flowed nicely. I thought this story mixed in humor very well. I really enjoyed it!

That was adorable! Charlie is the sweetest little child and I love him to death. The writing was well done with a good plot, and it was very cute.
