Had to read the reviews to figure out that 1) nobody had died and 2) Hikaru hadn't suddenly changed genders (I don't even know)
But when I figured it out, it is quite amazing that you wrote something so short and yet so powerful- even when I had no idea what the hell this was talking about I still see the emotion run through it.

Wait, does this mean that Haruhi married Hikaru?
But yeah, I love this story!

Waugh! I liked this so much. The implied HaruhixHikaru was great, since that is a pairing that I wish had been explored more in the show, and Tamaki being himself was very well-written. :)

Oh. Oh oh oh. Maybe it's just because I've been reading sad fics for quite a bit now, and I just finished crying, but OH MY GOD. Tamaki, my poor oblivious Tamaki... This just wrenches me, in the worst possible way. Oh dear god, oh dear god...

It really shouldn't be possible for something this short to tear someone's heart strings out. I think the best part about this is that with just a few small changes, this could very well have been. What a sad thought...but what a beautiful piece of writing. Great job.
