Rarely are people able to write the 'tutored' story line well. You have managed to pull it off quite beautifully despite your misgivings about the ending to it. It was cute without being over the top which is often the problem with stories like these.

English is a hard subject to learn. I used to hate grammar. It was so boring. I only liked the part where we read stories and essays. Oh well, that was years ago when I was in elementary. x_x

I enjoyed the English learning part of it all. But seriously, English is quite difficult to learn, what with all its details to learn and the odd sentence structure at times, not to mention all the iffy half-the-time-with-lots-of-exceptions-rules.
