I read this fic years ago. The story captured me and I kept on coming back and reading it over and over. Your style is dark but still have its funny moments. I do like how Vergil is just back in the human world for the heck of it. I think you've pulled off both of the half-demons getting shot quite well. Thanks for sharing your work!

I always liked reading this piece of work of yours. It's very dark and angsty, just the way I like it.

So what I like about this is the realistic depiction of the ambivalence in a relationship that only Dante and Lady could have. I also like how each chapter can be standalone.

Always enjoy your work, even though i don't review most of the time, I just admire from afar. Thank you for posting this story.

As you said at chapter 8 you will have 4 more to go,i finished 10,that means two more are on the way i assume? :D i love your writing,maybe I am not into dark and sorrow types of stories,cuz i feel emotionally cracked while i read,as i drown into them,thinking,i mean in this case DMC,LxD pairing,what if their relationship could be like this in the game lol just wondering...as i know the full story,the games etc i only see Dante kinda depressed in DMC2,i always wondered what happened to him to get in that state of mind,then i found this master piece of yours and it hit me,yeah something like this might happened,even if he is in his early 20s(23) in your story,as he said 15 years since the tragic event in his life,when he was 8.

Sorry but this chapter was horrible. killing a baby just because it was Dante's seemed pretty cruel.

Your shorts are one of the best I've read in such a long time. Filled with little bits of endearing humour and feelings that are well expressed through the words. I've learnt new words too! XD

With regards to tocophobia (new word! yay!), Chapter 3 was ,what I feel, not well thought out. Especially the sudden attack by Dante on the anniversary. The scene was too sudden to happen.

Also I believe that Lady should leave (If you want this to end quickly) or she could stay and try to relieve Dante's mind a bit. Anyway I see it, that Dante's gonna turn out to be bitter and grumpy despite what Lady's going to do. It depends whether you want to be cruel to Dante and give him kindness that she never meant to give or give half-heartedly (I feel like this is the bad ending for a bad h-game) or let Lady be kind and let Dante sort it out himself (which might just lead to his self-destruction and Lady acting cold and inconsiderate).

I apologize if this doesn't seem to make much sense, cos i'm in the middle of a report which just doesn't want to get done. Anyway I'm looking forward to the next chapter! _

I have to say I'm very impressed. Most people don't give this much thought to Dante's character, as much of it's potential is untapped by its own franchise. As for my opinion on what to do, I find it's best to listen to your own instincts as far as plot direction is concerned, but since you're asking, I think she should stay. It's hard for me to imagine her leaving him at this point, as she has so much emotionally invested in him, not to mention the sense of responsibility she feels for him.

It's hard to say what I want Lady to do. I really think it should be you, the author, who decides what happens next. If I give my opinion, I'm afraid it would be quite biased since I'm not a fan of the pairing.

Just to let you know, if it wasn't for your writing I would never have read these chapters with this pairing. I hope you know that you are an excellent writer and have a great talent here. :)
