In a previous chapter, L said that he would make sure the rapist got the death sentence... doesn't that make him similar to Kira, then? He certainly seemed to think that the death penalty would be just, in that case, at least.

Oh my god this story was amazing! I love the take and the what if given. It was captivating and so wonderful to read! I sorely want more and i am so sad to see this has been not updated in a great while. This is a great stop for there to be some closure but god I hope this is not the end! I truly hope you'll come back to it and continue on it! You are wonderful writer and i so pray you continue writing. Not just this but in general. I love your craft!

AHHH! I was glaring at that last sentence trying to figure out where I’d read it before. Awesome touch, and I love the ending. I was worried it’d be rushed, but it was perfectly satisfying while leaving enough up to the readers.

Several years later, I come back to this. As a kid, I didn’t see the errors that I see now; I was very convinced that this is the best there was. I loved this a lot, you know. And now that I’ve binged this story, I can honestly say that while I believe this could use some work, I still hold it in high regards. Maybe it’s nostalgia, who knows. But the banter, the slow burn, and even the genius trio were so nice to see. So. Kudos to you.

I also love how you left it in an unresolved state. Like—Light is eventually going to like L back. But because that moment isn’t right now, it gives this a more realistic feel.

Thanks for writing this so long ago—this is one of the things that shaped me as a fanfic writer today—and thanks for not taking it down like I’ve seen so many do. It always gives me something to come back to whenever I visit the DN fandom.

First of all, this was beautifully written. How in character you wrote everyone from Death Note boggled my mind as to hOw?! Like I could really see Light's and L's banter playing out in the series. I love how you added your own twist to the story and it made sense & felt natural? As natural as writing fanfiction can get to the actual anime/manga. I don't know if writing characters like L and Light are normal for you, but I appreciate the amount of effort you had put into the story. It made me wish there was more to read! (now, I'm about to go read your other multi-chapter fic). Also, that ending! Yooo, I loved that. I always like a well-done ending especially when it loops back to something you wouldn't think held that much significance. I really hope you continue writing because I am so in love with how you write these characters.

Will Light learn to communicate whitout punching L? We will find out in the next chapter of 'make them kiss again'. I'm happy we get to see the kids, Mello, Matt maybe even Near but Light just did a dick move by telling them who he is. I wouldnt expect less from him anyway it was the perfect thing to get them all riled up. I like that you included a quote for this and the last chapter and i'm really loving both Light and L, their interactions feel natural and i love reading them!

oh no i mean what did Light expect? If the rapist had to give a description and he remembered Light this was bound to happen. I really like L in this one, being all patient and kinda a gentleman. I cannot help but feel that Light is going to hate L no matter what in this situation, honestly i think he needs a hug (and a lot of therapy no lies there) but if by any means L could tell him that he is on Light's side i think that would be helpful

I think it's so improtant that you mentioned how victims of this crime are treated, people think they are lying or that they are weak cause they couldnt defend themselves and that's just so wrong, it's truly tragic that society act like this. I hope they catch that fucker and he is punished, that would be veeery satisfying
