The annoyance because of the war, the suspicions between them and feel frustrated because they don't think they know each other anymore. I feel so heartbreaking for their misfortune and the cruelty of the war, yet feel touched by their sorrowful story at the same time.

It was tragic and heartbreaking and beautiful, as I'm sure you've heard so many times before. I was on the verge of tears a few times, and it's put me in an odd little slump as I realized what war can do to a person and what it did to them. I knew it before, how it destroyed something so brilliant and precious with the Marauders, but this, this made it more real somehow.

I would love to see your point of view on the relationship during Harry's time, but that is your decision in make. In the meantime, I'm going to go recommend this story to many, many people.
