What a great story, made me sad a little. Poor Vin. I’m glad he got the boys back. He was a whole different person with them there and it made me happy. The seven really know how to protect their family:)

loved this story although the scene with vin and jd made me cry.

I really enjoyed this story. It was heartbreaking to see Vin's despair. I thought it was great that Vin stitched his own arm up. Ouch! I think it ended great. I loved the inclusion of the CSI Miami team. And Team 8, I always loved Ryan Kelly.
I don't have a plot bunny for this story, but just throwing this idea out there, how about a version for each of the guys? Where JD is the only survivor, or Buck or Ezra, etc. I wonder how Nathan or Josiah would react to thinking their entire team was dead. They each have their own baggage and insecurities so I would imagine that the stories would all be unique showing how each would react.
Just an idea. But thank you for a great story.

Can you write the thought of the rest of team seven from the explosion till they get Vin back and such? I've been curious about how the team reacted to the news Vin had disappeared.

Awesome fic. Loved all the angst and all the feels. I think I stopped breathing when Team 7 went off to find Vin and when they finally saw him and he saw them I so had goosebumps and then tears in my eyes. Wonderful job.

Good story, are you still writing? I'd love to see more and find out how Vin settled back into Denver and whether the "capt'n" came to see him there. BTW, are you related to retirw? Is retirw related to you? LOL Your Vin is obviously pretty much the same character (perhaps some backstory differences, but not much else seems different :) ).

This is an absolutely fantastic story! As soon as I followed the link from mag7 fic finder I knew I had read this at least once before but was more than eager to re-read. As an avid vin girl who delights in h/c, this is pure decadent indulgence.
