I was kind of grinning when I saw the title and read the summary. The story itself amused me immensely. It's great.

I was browsing through FFN (as you do), when I just happened to stumble across this... and I absolutely loved it! Absolutely hilarious, and everyone was so in character I could actually see this being a script for episode! Okay, so it would have to be a spoof episode like 200, but it still counts. And the way you tied it in with the Ancients... too good! I'd never thought of it that way before, but you're absolutely right! It fits perfectly! Scarily so, actually...
