I enjoyed reading this story very much, and I even teared up a little bit at the end, which by the way was my favorite part. I might be interpreting this wrong, but it seemed like even though Derek loved Casey, he broke up with her because he loved her-he felt that he wasn't good enough for her or something like that. Is that correct? Thank you for the amazing story! )

This is the second time I've read this and I can't believe I didn't leave a review! It's so heartbreakingly beautiful. Amazing, really. The emotional depth of your characters is brilliant.

Oh come on, you have to write a sequel to this. Pick it up a couple of years down the road or something, I'm not picky but the downbeat ending coming on the heels of Almost Lover is too much for me. Alright, that was a bit dramatic but I would love to see the story continue.
