MobiusStripper chapter 1 . 12/14/2014
So I doubt you read these any more since this is old as all get-out (and really awesome BTW), but I am curious about a very small detail: was the bit about Cornelia's mother being of the family Cornwall an allusion to Morgan le Fay?
Juleezy chapter 1 . 12/16/2013
This was so great.

I always was fascinated by minor characters, Guilford, being one of them obviously. I never really thought about any of this. It was so interesting to see a person's view on him, to see how he would think because I've seen several different ones.

The way you organized this and wrote this and thought of this is pure genius. There's really not much to say. I'm off to read your other works!
Antithesister chapter 1 . 6/28/2012
This was so beautiful. I love how you have characterized them both. This story is so well done.
BlackLioness chapter 1 . 4/6/2010
This was beautiful, I like your take on the characters and their relationship. Good job!
Kirijo.Kanaru chapter 1 . 2/19/2010
I know it have been a long time since you wrote this, buut I have to say it: Excellent work, my friend !

And guess what... I am peruvian xD!

I got so excited when I read we were Sector 6 ... though, being a colony is nothing to be happy of, haha.

But still, I got excited at the thought that Cornelia and Guilford were here and the fact that you mention us

This was a very good story. I really liked your writting.

Keep up the good work!

Take care.
Moberemk chapter 1 . 3/22/2009
This is an interesting experiment in storytelling you have here. The format is wildly different from the usual prose, but that's a good thing-for this exploration of two characters it works well, bringing the reader along for Guilford's ride. If what he writes is in italics, then clearly he didn't write much at all; but that fits with normal human thoughts really, the thought out loud with the context inside the head.

It's definitely interesting to read your take on Cornelia, at any rate. You write her as something of an enigma, which feels odd to read but that's not really a bad thing; the hints and the anecdotes do well to give her a better-developed background.

(Nitpick note: Sake is a Japanese drink-why would a Britannian drink Eleven wine?)

At the same time that you give out all the information about Cornelia, you seem to ignore Guilford somewhat. While this is clearly all about Cornelia, the occasional tidbits you provide about Guilford are interesting, but that's all they are-tidbits. Just like with Cornelia, we don't get the whole picture on him, just bits and pieces and what we can extrapolate from what he thinks, but you never really developed him beyond what we see in the series: a serious man devoted to his princess. That's really not a nuanced character, that's a caricature. While I acknowledge that this is Cornelia's story, it feels like there was a missed opportunity to develop him more.

In spite of that, this was an enjoyable story. It's in my Favorites, at any rate. Time to go look at the rest of your work then!
Dewy Eyed Love chapter 1 . 3/8/2009
This made me cry. Such a beautiful piece of art. You've made the heart of a reader melt. The uniqueness of a knight trying to figure out his princess is outstanding. Bravo!

Moonlith chapter 1 . 3/3/2009
I had some trouble keeping up with this, but in the end, it was quite decent read. The conclusion, following Guilford's "What ifs", was also pieced together well enough. Thanks.

Manthor chapter 1 . 12/4/2008
An excellent .I like how you explored the emotions of Guilford to Cornelia and Cornelia's relation to a sort of bittersweet love story you don't find often and one that if crafted very well.

You developed a character of a very strong woman who was loved by her knight more than the anime ever could.A lot of character development and one of the better if not elite fictions online.
Sachie chapter 1 . 10/23/2008
Amazing. You are pure genius. [:
Marching Madly Onward chapter 1 . 9/15/2008
To say this is fascinating is not to give the story enough credit.

I enjoyed his sad, sweet, ambiguously unrequited love. I enjoyed the running metaphor of lines and curving question marks. I enjoyed the portrat of two people who are very close, yet very far apart.

You have quite an accomplishment on your hands. Congratulations on a job very well done
Seriously Yours chapter 1 . 8/28/2008
Wow that was one of the best descriptions of character I've ever read. Bravo!
O f f beat chapter 1 . 8/6/2008
This is really, really beautifully written. Bravo! Loved Guilford's relentless undying love for his princess, both in the anime and in this; you've portrayed it (and Cornelia, I should add) exceptionally well.
Star Rhapsody chapter 1 . 7/6/2008
Oh wow...this really hits a chord. The way you laid out Guilford's thoughts was perfect to me. It matches him in a way, the ordered format. And I simply loved the repetition. It flowed perfectly and tied itself up nicely at the end. Ahh, poor Cornelia! I felt so bad for her after Euphemia died...oh well. -sigh-

Fantastic job with this! Definitely adding to the favorites.
kallen-cha chapter 1 . 5/18/2008
