This story was amazing. Wonderfully written, excellent detail and description, simply flawless heartfelt emotion. It's perfect. I do side with you, in that Shunsui will just revert back to his old ways once he wins over his Nanao-chan, but I could never, not ever in this lifetime, write it out as perfectly as you did here.

I loved just your basic plot line, and how you had put Nanao as believing that she was merely one of his "conquests", and the memories that she had of him before. That was all flawlessly written out, and that really got me interested in the story. Amazing job. However, I think that the second chapter, or at least a small chunk of it, was my favorite. I cried. Yes, cried, at that last sentence that you wrote. It fit the mood perfectly, and that one sentence really seemed to be that phrase that truly described Nanao Ise: someone who's very, very cautious about her life, but if she lets you in, it's something that you should treasure. That was magnificent.

It's the same thing with the last chapter-your ending sentence blew me away. I loved how you had Shunsui actually change for Nanao's sake; that was just such a bittersweet moment for me. Very heartwarming, because he's actually willing to totally change his habits and his lifestyle to just get another chance, one that even he feels that he doesn't deserve, at winning Nanao back. Really does a great job at showing the extent of his love for her. At the same time, slightly heart-clenching, because it's one of those classic examples where Shunsui just doesn't know what exactly Nanao means to him, until she finally leaves…

This is such an amazing story, and I am so happy that I was able to read it. Missing out on this would have been a crime. For that matter, so would not putting this story on your favs list.

P.S.: I think that you might want to consider putting Romance or Angst, maybe both, into your genre section of choice. Just saying.

Hi, look i don't know if this review has come in too late for this to be of any use to you, and please don't think I'm meddling, but if you can if it's worth it, do the same thing, if it's worth it do it, if you want to so much, do it, and even if this is too late for your problem, try and remember it ok? If a relationship or something is threatening to break or happen, if it's what you want do it. You only live once, make it so you have no regrets, be a glass half full kinda a person, not half empty.

You don't have to take this advice, but I just wrote it here, for something, if you want, CAN take advice from.

Brilliant! :) A bit of the end was a bit too fluffy and classic, but the last sentence make you forget about it :)

Wow. Very moving story, so sad and sweet and powerful. Second chapter was my favourite, particularly the last line.

I loved this so much. The idea of them outside Soul Society military system is great.

O_O Wow. That was awesome. A strange ending-I can't really picture Shunsui looking so different, giving up his past ways. But the fact that he did says a lot. *applauds* Good job!

Just gorgeous! So angsty, yet so realistic. I usually prefer fics where Kyouraku is not quite so... liberal with his womanising, yet this had a very down-to-earth and realistic feel to it. Very well written too.
