Just found this story and all I can say is wow. This is by far one of the best fanfics I have ever read. Keep up the good work.

I've been really interested in this fanfic. I feel like your writing style captures the feel of the Harry Potter books excellently, and I've been loving the little wrinkles in the Potterverse created when Dresden gets involved. I can't wait to see if this series gets continued, as I'd love to see more of Harry P. and Harry D. working grudgingly together to beat Voldy the Moldy.

Sorry to see the story ending here. There was a potential for much more. Sorry, because it was well done and I enjoyed every minute.

So the memes have been making the rounds again and someone on Facebook linked your work. And I read it all in a few quick hours and enjoyed every minute. Good stuff here. I like how you've managed to fit both world's lore together in a way that doesn't compromise either. Dresden offers sound mechanisms (and merits) for Potter's normally whimsical magic system, while Dresden's brand of magic doesn't feel overpowered or instantly since any of Potterverse's problems. You've sprinkled a bit of Dresden's horror/mystery in in a way that stays true to Potter's POV. The characters reactions and adversarial stances feels real for where both of them are at in their stories, and I love the little moments where Dresden gets to be both observant and witty (being a detective), or the tiny hints that Lash may be around (I think this is Dresden just before White Night, but it isn't really clear). Over all, very much enjoyed and I'll be checking back periodically in hopes of more. Thank you.

I love this story so much. The writing is incredible and the characters are super realistic. The cowboy thing was probably the first time a fanfiction has made me cry of laughter, so props for that. Can't wait to read the next installment.

This works on so many levels. The tones of the stories clash? Duh, it's 'cause Dresden is trolling the Brits, as one does. This is an amazing idea and I hope you continue it.

(Also, man, reading this reminds of what a git Harry was in book 6)

Finish the f'n story...

This story is very good at portraying the culture clash between the Dresden Files and Harry Potter... by which I mean, it's very good at showing HP characters being morons (as the setting they exist in almost encourages them to be, by contrast to Dresden Files characters whose author has made them smart and resilient in order to survive in their own setting). I know this is a useful tool, and that the plot is furthered by every moment Potter's teenage resentment causes him to conceal something from Dresden, or his massive preconceptions cause him to be an absolute asshole to Molly, but frankly it's almost too frustrating to read.
On a technical level, it's really well written, and I enjoy how POV is really everything. Every vocabulary term Molly & her Harry screw up brings a smile to my face. And, I'm really intrigued by Hermione's apparent incapacity with willpower-based magic.

I'm sorry why couldn't Harry tell the twins McGonagall basically kidnapped him? Since this story isn't complete it's not worth reading, especially when you make everyone so overbearing.
