I know that this was written a little more than a decade ago, but it had such a good start. The mountain that was a taijustu trial was such a unique scenario to put the characters in a situation where they were forced to depend on each other and from which comradeship and friendship could develop. But then, like a dream, when the mountain collapsed, the illusion ended. They could depend on each other in the cave, and they learned about each other, but they didn't actually know who the other person was. Outside the trial, they were still the same people, even with the new connection between them, but Sakura was still overly trusting and Sasori was still an Akatsuki who couldn't resist following the lead Sakura gave him, even if he might have felt a touch of guilt that might've let him reconsider, particularly when Sakura got rightfully suspicious.

I'm so, so sad that this is unfinished. If you ever have the desire and opportunity, I do hope that you'll return to give this fic a chance at an ending. This is such a good SasoSaku, and it's a shame it's incomplete. Best of luck with whatever you're doing now~

I really love this story. I'm loving the plot this story make. It's almost 10 years from the latest update. I wish the author could actually continue this story cause I rarely found a SasoSaku ship. I'm still patiently waiting.

I actually really enjoyed this fic, however unfinished it may be. Although it's kind of the nature of the beast on the site to fall in love with something with no intention of resolution. Anyways, very carefree and easy read writing style that was enjoyable throughout and more of a plot than most fics I read these days (which is half way my fault). Also great characterization and recall back at certain points - I enjoy watching Sakura piece things together and seeing Sasori rationalize his thoughts/feelings for her. Thanks for the read!

I'll make it short. This story sucks. Like, what the fuck are you serious? The whole thing is fucking fucked the fuck up. Try harder next time. Although the plot line ain't that bad but the way you use the characters sucks really really bad.
