Right, this was absolutely fantastic.

I really like Lavender as a character, I usually like what authors do with her in fanfiction, and I really think there's too few Lavender-centric fics. Normally I like Lavender/Harry but I really think you've made me a Lavender/Remus fan because this was excellent.

I love you version of Lavender, who seems to always be portrayed a silly, flirty girl, even when she's an adult. It was nice to a depth to her character. I did love the pairing of Lavender and Charlie, and I can't help but wonder if their relationship would have survived had Tonks died.

I've actually been kinda leery about reading this for a while, but I'm really glad I did. It was sweet and wonder and funny. Absolutely lovely. You've done it again.

I don't know how often I've read or thought of this story - today it came over me again and I abandoned the essay (on Hubble's star and nebula images, ironically) I have to read for this. It's been quite some time since I cried for a book, but you got me again when they were dying. I love how you describe life for them, how the years go by quicker and quicker - I wonder if this really is like that? - and I think this is an ode to growing together past 35, living a life, slowly growing old, still together. It's a wonderful happy ending in-process for them and I have adopted as my HP head canon.:-)
If it wasn't that long I would go and translate it to German and ask permission to post it here, but alas, I'm too slow.

A pity, you don't seem to be writing anymore here ... Or is there some fiction between covers I could purchase in a bookshop?

Okay, so I've never really been a huge fan of Lavender. I've never really had many feeling fore Lavender at all, she was just sort of there in The Half Blood Prince. I never expected to love her, OR this ship (I never even knew this ship existed) until I found this on a Fic Rec Page for Rare pairs and I just wanted to tell you oH MY GOSH I LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVEEEEEEE THIS! You write Lavender and Remus SO well! Thank you so much for this wee gift of a fic, it's absolutely perfect!

oh my God. I think this is one of the prettiest stories on this site. The pairing is something I would not imagine myself, and I've always shipped Remus/Tonks, but this story is really really well done and just really beautiful. 3 The theme of stars was beautiful, by the way. Also, the way they died was priceless. I was laughing at their dialogue, and Lavendar's dress is amazing.
