That twist though! I love it when it was all a dream and Hermione made the right choice and not got together with Ron.

When I read the last pages of DH book, I was confused by how there was no conversation between Harry and Hermione at the train station. If I tell you the truth, last two books of HP are really rushed. Book six is full with how beautiful Ginny is or how boys are mad around her. then in DH book there is too much Angst and.. phew.. You can understand. If Harry and Hermione's relationship was like siblings then why didn't Harry comforted her when she was crying? Why didn't he yelled at Ron after he returned cause he had broken her heart? He should have given Hermione her wand back to curse that moRon

I never reviewed this⁉️ Scandalous. I like this premise.

I wonder if even in the EWE there wasn’t an element of Harry
just marrying Ginny only because it was ‘expected’, without any
other real candidates other than Hermione. I also wonder if she
married Ron mainly to stay close to Harry.

Hermione’s realization that she couldn’t live without Harry is the
linchpin to the story. I truly feel one can find it in canon, but JKR
ignored for the OBHWF trope.

In Australia, I’m glad that they kept ties with Teddy and Andromeda,
Neville, and Minerva. I like their three children, but hoped for anther
son, maybe named for Hermione’s father. Perhaps a side project
for the end of the story.

Frankly, I wonder at the return to Britain. Surely they are leaving
friends. I figure the grand parents return too, so will they become
English dentists again? Was the pull of ‘home’ truly that strong?
Or is this really a chance for them to spit in the eye of the British
magical world James will have some camouflage with his Aussie
accent. Also he’ll have support in place through Minerva, Neville,
and Teddy.

I’m glad to see that he's already made two new first-blood friends.
H&H’s advice to him is excellent and one wishes Harry himself had
had someone to give him that advice in 1991.

I am so disappointed that this story ends here. You write so wonderfully and could have added many more chapters. Perhaps now?

I've read most of your stories, and for some reason this one is my favorite. I knew I didn't quite like the epilogue, but I'd never really processed that Hermione & Harry didn't speak directly to each other.

And it's hard to imagine them speaking to each other, being easy with each other, without Ron & Ginny feeling in some way left out.

Thank you so much for writing this story. I have always felt that Ginny was just not near as right for Harry as Hermione was and the antagonistic relationship between Ron and Hermione just never seemed conducive to them getting married. I'm very unhappy with JKR for foisting such ill conceived pairings on her fans.
