I remember reading this story years ago and loving it then; I've rediscovered it and still find it as heartwarming and wonderful as I did back then. Thank you for this.

I literally love this fic so fuckin much. Your characterization for each of the characters is spot on. Snape gets a chance to return to Hogwarts, the first place he ever really felt was home, and reconcile with the woman he did all of this for. I love Dobby’s and Hedwig’s parts so so so much. They’re so short but perfectly written. Fred’s bit makes me sob every time. Him looking in the mirror and Sirius and James comforting him just gets me every time I read it. I love this fic so much, thank you so much for writing it. I know the government has its own explanations for what the white space actually was but you know what? This is fuckin canon in my book!

Beautiful, tasteful, well-written, and an afterlife I might actually want to end up in, which is more than quite a few conceptions of the Afterlife in fanfics can say. I suppose if I wanted to nitpick, I could point out that this isn't really how it seems to work in canon — the King's Cross Station lookalike that Harry ended up in was only a sort of "limbo", and the trains were meant to take him to the *real* afterlife — but I don't *really* want to nitpick.

Great story, lump in throat. I admit that it was a bit confusing when it switched from characters abruptly. I do hope everyone is there when one passes like my great grandma use to say. Sad, good story, thanks for sharing.

This is so beautiful. I've never felt so at peace after reading a fanfic. Your writing is gorgeous, and I love how you altered your style to suit each character. Hedwig's part is like a beautiful poem that I just want to read over and over again.

This was a good read. I greatly enjoyed it. The Hedwig scene was cute. Though, unless the people judging Tom were coming up with everything they could to throw at him, I don't think the afterlife would care about things like breaking living world laws or charges like "conspiracy to break people out of Azkaban," etc. Also, words like "muggle(s)," "soul(s)," "quidditch," and "fun house" shouldn't be capitalized.

What a crappy ending for Snape. He gets to see the Marauders having their happily ever after, with Lily still young and still with a young James and still preaching to him about how he should be a different person (more like James), and gets to still have Dumbledore as his boss. Seriously, why would he want that? It wasn't like any of those people were ever anything other than horrible to him (except for Lily, who started at the age of 16).

Nicely done! All the Gryffindors receive their reward in heaven, of course; nearly murdering and tormenting Slytherins simply doesn't count as a moral failing.

I do hope Snape can draw a better afterlife than Hogwarts in the company of the Marauders. He deserves far, far better.
