This took me under a week to read (probably would've finished it sooner if I wasn't so busy with everyday life) and I have to say... great story! I really enjoyed every minute of this fic. My only bone to pick is that the chapters were short... I wanted more! They were however, super detailed which was great! Gracie is a really great OFC too... very believable and likable. You wrote out Carter really well too, so kudos for that! And let me just say, I know just how you feel in regards to the show's writers, they frustrated me too at times. I never really cared for any of Carter's love interests through the seasons. Del Amico in season 4 was okay and him and Susan were cute when she came back to County, but otherwise... nah. Anywho, I see there's a sequel to this fic entitled, "The Difference" so I'm going to head off and start reading that bad boy. Again, great story! You're an excellent writer, please keep it up!

Very interesting so far. You're research is superb (where do you get it all?) and I like the tone. Gracie seems like a very deep person, and at first she seemed unfitting for John. But, as I've read further (and am just to lazy to review on whatever chapter I just finished with) I've decided their budding relationship is fantastic.

Character's are written with excellence and there's just enough mix of romance/medicine to keep the ER legacy alive! Love it so far!

i love this story- so excited theres another two stories after this! This is the first good ER story I have ever read- I love the way you have followed the events of the programme, and how seamlessly Gracie is woven into it. great job, I'm going to devour this very quickly I can tell!

I tried to read this a while back and got sidetracked. So happy I came across it again today.

I love this story. I wish stories with OFCs aren't always looked at as "mary sues" because excellent stories like this one get passed over.

It's great that you didn't jump right into a relationship and not everything is exactly like the episode it's based on. It's all really enjoyable, and I hope you update soon. XD
