| M. N. Nep chapter 1 . 4/8/2008 Nice cliffhangers, excellent story. Most of the obvious problems have alread been pointed out as well. In particular, Koji's attitude still strikes me as a little extreme (even after the update). I've watched Frontier and I don't remember Koji bullying Takuya that badly nor swearing so much (In fact I don't think he cursed that much even before he met Koichi much less called people gay). Also, it seems a little unclear whether this story set before Runaway Locomon (the sixth movie). I'm pretty sure that Runaway Locomon is canon and Takato had Guilmon in that movie (BTW, Runaway Locomon is set after the D-Reaper arc, so it's set after the series entirely). Runaway Locomon is supposed to be set six months or so after the D-Reaper incident, but the time is never actually mentioned so I suppose it's conceivable that it could happen later (unless it never happened at all in this story which would make me sad). One last thing I want to mention is the thing about Ken. In the actual season, I don't think he explicitly loses his intelligence. It isn't impossible that he could have and then again he mightn't have. Good job with what is already there anyway. Good luck with anything after. |
