Wow. I've always hated Bella, but I'm glad I clicked on this. This is amazing. Somehow, you've managed to capture the spirit of one of those characters we love to hate and made her into a real person who wasn't always a psychopath. Great job!

I like the way you characterized her in general. The seeds for her insanity were planted in there, definitely, but there were hints of a real person in there, like in how she almost laughed at Sirius' prank and knew at once that she never should have taken Regulus to Voldemort. It's stunning the way you managed to say, in not so many words, how Bellatrix knew what was wrong, knew that she was doing terrible things, gave a damn about what she was doing, yet didn't. Does that make any sense?

There are a few nitpicks I have, and the only reason I noticed them at all was because the rest of the piece was so wonderful.

"All of Regulus's friends were completely terrified her,"

I think you mean "terrified OF her,"

"6. At the funeral, she stared coldly ahead, stone-faced and dry-eyed, while Narcissa wailed and Andromeda picked at her skirt."

That doesn't quite tally up with the heading, (or, twenty facts about bellatrix lestrange that she would never speak aloud) because everyone saw that she was there and dry-eyed. Maybe that would have worked better as a part of #5.

Anyway, wonderful story! Keep writing!

This fanfic is very well-written (as are all your other works).
Sadly, I don't quite agree/like(?) your portrayal of Bellatrix though.

Number 1 already threw me off. Not because the part that she liked Sirius more (that I can believe), but that she killed him quick so he didn't suffer. :/ I think she Enjoyed it when he died, so that was not quite...right for me.

I did like 8, 9, 13, 16 though. I think the last sentence in 9 summed up Bellatrix for me - "She considered...but couldn't find it in herself to care". She's mad, she does care for some people more than others, but yet doesn't care enough for them to care. Does she have regrets? I think she has times when she goes "huh, maybe I shouldn't have", but more often than not she would just shrug (?), then cackle and move on.

I don't think she cared enough for anything to truly regret anything she'd done. Except maybe for her Dark Lord.

Still love your writing style though! :)

i hate bellatrix, but i love her too. i think it's mostly that i can't understand her, so i love pieces on her perspective. therefore, i love this. 10/10 :D
