I can definitely say that this is my favorite Supernatural Fanfic of all time! Love it and The Long way Back, as well! It would be amazing if you wrote another one! p.s. whenever I read these I always think of the song, "We don't have to take our clothes off" By:Ella Ering I think the lyrics match up perfectly.

Wow! Just...wow! I started perusing the first chapter of this story, fully intending to save the link and read it later, but somehow, here I am, at chapter 8, and I still don't wanna stop. :D It's addictive, and it keeps my blood pumping. I've never read anything like it in this fandom. And I'm pretty sure the human heart isn't designed to sustain such a constant adrenaline rush, but, damn, it's so worth it! It's like my brain tells me to stop, but my eyes keep reading. I've seen this fic recced before, with great praise to boot, but I wasn't really sure I could stomach the idea of such an abusive John and broken Sam. Still, now, I'm completely enraptured, and adding to the well deserved praise. Congratulations, and never. stop. writing! :D

This was a great story. I liked that Mary Winchester broke up crazy John's deal, even without Dean having to rescue Sam. I hope you did write a sequel.

Oh wow! This AU seems like the worst possible world for poor Dean. I totally understand Dean wanting to join the marines but to leave Sam with John and not with Pastor Jim is just a train wreck.

Somebody must have told poor Dean that he was usurping John's fatherhood when he was really saving himself and his brother from a truely grief crazed parent. I'm so evil, because I can't wait to read more.

Oh god, this is absolutely incredible so far...I love the way that the guys all see Sammy as their own little brother, and I love the shady, horrifying abuse, and I love the way that Sam's a total badass despite it all, and I love the last paragraph of this chapter. "you've messed with the wrong family"...god, I'm in love!
