Using Jim's mom to show us Pam & Jim's relationship was inspired, and I loved their close relationship. Normally, I find a change in point of view after a few chapters awkward, but I thought every choice you made in this story worked. The "chofa" details, the fact that we got to hear about the wedding instead of going through it, Dwight's arrival in the story at the grocery store... it all worked really, really well. My only other comment would be that the last bit felt a bit rushed; however, I felt so good at the end that I really can't complain. Congratulations on a job well done.

This is such a sweet chapter! I really love that you wrote from Jim's Mom's POV, I don't think I've seen that before. It's refreshing to see Jim through the eyes of someone that isn't involved in the whole situation.

What a beautiful story to read for the holidays! I loved it! I love the characters you've added and how well you created the family dynamic in just 5 chapters. I love everything about this story. So beautifully written and very cool the way you moved through time with jumps and flashbacks. The only thing that might have been better was if that first flashback had been in italics or something.. But, it didn't take long to figure out what was happening.

Anyway, fantastic story. I'm very impressed.
