Now that I've gotten that out of the way... that was the best oneshot I've had the pleasure of reading in a long time. It went from funny to so touchingly HUMAN before reaching that sweet-and-warm-as-honey ending so fluidly. Thanks for this.

Can't believe I am finding this story just now, it flowed nicely.

This is an amazing fic! I missed my daily dose of Phoenix x Maya this morning, and I got hungrier and hungrier for it this upcoming evening. This story completely satisfied my hunger, leaving me full and ready to go to sleep with my shipping feels. My inner editor says that this could have been proofread more, but other than that, everything is amazing!

I know this is a very late review. :)) But I really loved this PhoenixMaya story. Specifically hat you made them so in-character like without exaggerating and adding unneeded tension. You still had original plot stuff and all. :)

The end actually made me a bit teary-eyed.. Actually teary-eyed indeed. :)) It's just so sweet. :')

AW... so romantic!

EJHKJHAKJDGKGSDJHGS this melted all my insides to goo! I was literally clinging my blanket as I read on and all of a sudden Phoenix went "low husky gentle voice and finger on your chin" mode and Maya must have been SWEATING BULLETS! OMG Phoenix- when did YOU become such a suave ladies man? XD Awesome! I loved hidden attachment to movie night and the sweet way it ended. I can just imagine the whole scene- it's so cute! I think I have cavities.

I've only played the first game but I definitely sense some love between Nick and Maya. I wonder if I'll ship 'em more passionately when I play the other games? Hmm. Great read and I wantz more! This fic just made me want to hug Phoenix until he turned blue. :D

platonic? blasphemy! this is a gem among maya/phoenix fics! that 'Friendship' in the genre thing could easily be turned into a 'Romance' and it would still fit! but, as a die hard M/P, that's just how I roll. anyways, loved it, nice and long too.
