I like your story. I just got done watching all of the Peacemaker anime. I love Okita.

I didn't know that tuberculosis was the disease Kimimaro or Ukitake had. I've been wondering what was wrong with Ukitake and what disease Kimimaro had. Thanks for clearing that up for me.

A very touching story and very well-written! All the characters were in character, which is always appreciated. I, especially, enjoyed the last scene between Hijikata and Souji. As for your author's note, you would be surprised to know that Souji's family wasn't rich, instead they were very poor, which is the reason Souji became apart of the Kondou household (this is shown in Vol 5 of the Peacemaker Kurogane manga... with cute little Souji :D and in history). I hope you do write another Peacemaker Fanfic, because this one was excellent. Cheers!

Wait... why would I kill you? I don't kill people. Blows to the head with a blunt object does :) Wait, is it confirmed that Ukitake actually *has* TB because in the back of the manga it says he just has a lung... oh. Jeez, I'm stupid. LOL.

Anyway, I liked this, and it's okay if you change the historical actualities to suit your needs. I do it all the time! But really though, good job. Write another!

Hmm. I can honestly say that although I don;t know the characters or their normal relations I liked how you wrote this story. Although, I got a kick out of the snowman building. . LOL. I think I will continue reading if you do continue this, simply because you ahve intrigued me my friend.

I think I'm going to do some research on Wiki for more into on these characters.
