I don't know if you know this, but Culture is available to be added and make this a crossover. Other than that I have no problems with this.

Oh how I wish this continued. It would be extremely entertaining to see more clashes between Wizarding and Culture lifestyles. Alas, it is not to be. I am not sorry I read this, mearly that it hasn't concluded.

I loved the read. But I also feel cheated.
Harry and the Minds haven't really begun to investigate magic yet, nor have they seen one of the ghosts... so, it kind of feels like all those 7 chapters were just the prologue/beginning and it was just about to start, but then it suddenly stopped.
A shame that it stopped there. But even if it was just a prologue, it still was worth the read.
Hopefully the author is still alive and continues to write one day.

A bit strange that Petunia would mistake Harry for James... considering that Harry is only 11 years old if I am not mistaken. And James was around 20 when he died, around 30 now? She must be mental...

I don’t know why, but for some reason I quite like your writing style (though I have no idea about some of the references you’ve made in your three other crossovers that I’ve read, including this one. (Sorry if I offended you with my surprise enjoyment of your writing style, I’m not the best at wording things sometimes)

Reading some of your other works tells me that you have an impressive way with words; reading some of the *reviews* of your work tells me that you have a following. Therefore I'm sure that I'm not the only one who would still like to see you continue this someday.

Long ago, two friends of mine introduced me to Banks' Culture novels. I certainly haven't read them all - I think that the last one I read was "Excession" - but enough that I instantly recognized what you were doing. In retrospect, the story's title alone should have been a clue. :-)

Sma and the "suitcase" sound good, well in character, to my semi-informed ear. And while certain aspects of Culture sexuality can be a wee bit disturbing if followed to their logical conclusions, please don't let certain readers' reactions stop you from pursuing the road that you're on.

For all the other readers out there, to pass the time waiting for Ruskbyte to pick up the thread of this story, I know of only one other Culture-crossover story (it's with "Buffy the Vampire Slayer"): Meromorph's "Collision Course," which I found many years ago on Twisting the Hellmouth, and which, alas, was also unfinished last I checked. May inspiration, and free time, arrive at the doorsteps of both authors.
