I loved this! I love your characterization of Yami - he's pretty much exactly how I imagine him. (Also, Yami on rollerskates is love.)

I'm not much good at skating, either, so I totally felt Yami on this one. It was kind of like reading an account of my first attempt on skates after ten years of not skating, and it made me laugh!

Ah, I just love how these two interact, so you can imagine how thrilled I was when I saw you wrote something on the subject :). Simple, yet interesting, as always. Though I did have trouble figuring out what happened towards the end (is it possible that the goons pushed Yugi around and went unpunished? XD). Meh, it's probably just lack of sleep on my part that's making this confusing :D. I love that you write Yugi so down to Earth and normal, it's really in keeping with the original (and his fear of losing even more so).

Anyway, your stories seem to have a tendency to push all the right buttons with me. Here's hoping you'll write more with the same protagonists, cause it's bloody hard to find good stories that capture the spirit of Jonouchi and Yami Yugi's friendship. I mean, seriously, these guys spent half of Battle City following each-other around, watching from rooftops and fantasising about their promised duel - why does no one ever notice that they were friends, too? XD

Short and sweet :). This reminded me of how different Jou and Yami's relationship was in the manga (where Yami would say 'Jounouchi-kun' at least 30 times in each chapter :D ). Pity they changed all that for the anime... But anyway, I really enjoyed reading such a nice and romance-free (for a change) story. Keep 'em coming!

I fall all the time too. That's bad enough, but when you're afraid to use your hands to help you get up for fear of someone running over them that's even worse. It was really bad in middle school when we had a skating unit. I just don't skate anymore it freaks me out too much. Good story though. Hee hee, I like the ending.
