It's sad and sweet in a way.

Hermione is so obviously happy with Ron but she was undoubtedly, at one point and maybe a little still, in your story, attracted to Draco.

A good story that fits nicely in with cannon and isn't necessarily AU in any way because it filled in the moments that we don't know could have happened or not.

One thing that most Draco/Hermoine stories ignore is the fact that these two people HATE each other. Yours is the first one that I've read that accepts this fact. There might be some attraction in spite of the fact that they HATE each other. You never tried to make these two anything but who they really are. Congragutations!

Haunting, as is appropriate, given the title (and content, of course, though the "ghosts" in questions are quite metaphorical, thankfully). And I'm wondering, will it be continued? It stands alone quite beautifully, but part of me wonders if Ginny, irrepressible personality that she is, would try and arrange some sort of "last" meeting between the two, or might just be privy to one such meeting, even if she had no hand in planning it. Of course, I'm sure Ginny would know full-well what such a meeting would entail for her "happily-married" sister-in-law, so...

But it certainly makes you think! Very well-written. Nice work.
