This story had a lot of potential but you didn’t seem to make me want to root for your original characters. This is a problem with a lot of OC stories, but this one in particular made me a bit more upset than others. As an example, during the chunnin exams arc, you made Hinata so cool and potentially more powerful then Neji, and I found myself rooting for her rather than the character you established to be the one to root for. It seemed to me like a waste to make Hinata a really powerful character, that I already held love for because of the anime, and make her lose to Rei. Rei and Iori didn’t do it for me and that sucks. Great concept, a lot of people really like it, didn’t do it for me. Sorry.

I feel the need to point out that every single person that would have been named as a potential guardian to Naruto in his parents will would have been alive at the time. Mikoto, Hiashi's wife (whose name I forget atm), Tsunade, Jiraiya, and the sandaime. Should have just gone with the whole "council doesn't want a single clan to control the jinchuriki" trope. While overused, it does at least make sense

It's a shame that this ended where it did, but I understand your reasons. It was a great fanfic!

I won't lie, you're 'hero of heaven' was more fun to read than this. I don't know why, but it felt like something was missing in the story. The grammar was great, not extraordinary, but not god awfully terrible either. The plot was decent and flowed but the story as a whole was missing something. Almost like the story was forced. It wasn't a bad story, I am no flamer, it just didn't have the energy I've come to love in most Naruto fanfics. Maybe add some humor to break up the monotony? Like have Naruto use the substitution jutsu on Sasuke to make him wear that green travesty from borat and get chased by fanboys.
