Very interesting, oddly enjoyable for such a dark subject. I liked the fact that you under played his evil. There were moments when I thought it might be Mat with his philandering ways and old memories.

Wow. Another great fic, Ersatz!

I have to admit, though, this one took me a few reads to understand it, and I think a little more background info would have come in handy. Written as is, I didn't really get any sense that the fic was going anywhere the first time I read it, it just seemed like something of a thought process or a writing exercise rather than a story. Does that make sense? If not, just ignore me ;)

Still, I'm too excited to have to you writing again to worry about that! I've said it before I'll say it again - you have THE best writing style.

Wow. I was never quite sure what was going on, but it definitely had me hooked. I got a very strong sense of the character, but it wasn't familiar enough for me to guess who it actually was, although I could guess who it wasn't. Very nice.

This is a very interesting offering for the new year. It twinkles with a sort of malevolent grace. I admit I did not completely get the difference between the woman who was seduced and the one who stepped from behind the mirror, but I presume the difference was not fully intended to be seen as the division appeared almost blurred. An interesting look at the life of a Forsaken.

I liked the oblique nod to the British royal family.
