Oh, god that Robin Williams section at the end of the chapters from Hook made me tear up because Gekido is right to like Robin Williams was a damn good actor and we lost him too soon.

As for the line, Gekido used was just so right in my eyes.

Wow, it was a pretty interesting alternate ending to the original story, especially as I didn't think you'd go back to it given how it was completed long ago. Regardless it was pretty well written and especially with the differences compared to the original ending to the fic, I have a feeling the new version Gundam Seed Purpose Renew might use elements from both into a potential new ending when you eventually get to that point.

I think I have said this before, but I will say it again; I always enjoyed the Gekido and Lacus relationship. There two opposites you wouldn't expect together, but they somehow fit.

So this is the 'happy' ending to Purpose. As about happy you can get. To be honest considering all that happen in Purpose, in my opinion Gekido deserved this type of ending, spending the rest of what little time he has with the woman came to love and the friends he made.

I know you said your not one for romance scenes, but I felt you did a good job writing the Gekido x Lacus dynamic.
