Hate to rain on your old parade, but you cant poison a bullet. The power that fires a bullet is the gunpowder igniting in the bullet. The explosion/ignition causes instant sterilization.

If the earlier part of your story was what you wrote in junior high, I am extremely impressed. I've read stories by people who are twice the age you were then that were not nearly as well written.

I like how the plot is unfolding and would love to see how the story ends. I don't know what you are going through in your life or if you have the will or inspiration to finish the story, but it would be terrible for your readers and fans if this fanfic is left unfinished.
