Wow, this is a very cute story. Even more surprising for me is that it remains a one-sided love at the end. While Naruto is still seemingly oblivious to her affections, the sheer amount of hope for the future is so... uplifting. This is exactly the kind of Hinata I have in mind and likewise hope Naruto gets with.

This is really good for your first Naruto fic! Hinata's portrayal is in character in my opinion and I like how it was basically her reflecting on certain canon moments in the manga.

I was intrigued by the note about Hinata having a platonic interest in Sasuke. (Although...did she know about his cause? Gah...there's so much to remember in the manga! . ) A little surprised that she seemed so unsure of Sakura's feelings-I'm not sure if the manga's said anything about that or not, so it could go either way, I just thought she would've gotten to know Sakura a little better during the timeskip period. Hm...yet another reason why I need to reread.

Don't worry, Hinata, Naruto's not ignoring you; he's just naturally oblivious. XD
