I think it's incredible how well you manage to capture the voices of Shatner as Kirk and Nimoy as Spock. I can definitely see this kind of story actually happening as a sort of B-plot to an original episode! Thanks very much for sharing.

Very amusing. Unlike Spock, I don't eat the roses in my garden. But I do sometimes eat the hips. So do the resident songbirds.

Love the idea of Kirk and Spock toasting each other with rose petals! What a great image.

Spock was First Officer as soon as Kirk became Captain, though, so he would have been not just Science Officer but also First here.
