Ignore my review for chap 23. It sent without my being finished!

Anyways! As I was saying: I told myself that I wouldn't read any incomplete fictions. However, this and Marked and Hunted have been on my mind for a while now and boy oh boy am I glad that I read this again.

I love it. I love everything about it. I love the characterizations, the little things, the ups and the lows. Throughout every chapter I keep on wondering how it could possibly end. Nothing. I have absolutely no idea and I just need another chapter to tide me over. Just one more chapter then I know that I can go to work happy - to have something to enjoy on my lonely break times at work.

I mean I can't get enough of Axel's determination. It's actually endearing in its own way but I l don't if my patience can wait for Roxas to remember who he was...or for Sora's plan to come to light. I mean, there were times where my jaw literally dropped and by the end of chapter 23, I was clicking the imaginary 'Next' button as though it would appear but nothing :(.

Just like myself, I'm sure you know that deep down, it doesn't matter when you update. Just as long as this hasn't been forgotten, then I'll wait patiently for the next chapter. Once again: Perfection. Absolutely love it and I'm secretly routing for Axel to get what he needs. Is it weird that I would love it if someone loved me the way Axel loves Roxas? I digress!

Love the fiction and no matter how long it takes, I'll await for the next!

I've recently returned back to FanFiction after an eight year hiatus and I told myself that I wouldn't re-read any incomplete fictions.

Ok, so I finally caught up with this fic. About time, right? I'd started reading it as it was coming out, but got distracted by other things and then just put it on hold for a few years... but I'm glad I finally returned to it!
I love you characterizations, always have, and I can honestly say you're my favorite author in the KH fandom. I'm hoping you're enjoying KH3 as well~
Anyway, about the fic - I absolutely love it, I'm totally hooked and I can't wait to see where this goes. I hope you'll update eventually, but even if you never do, I want you to know how much I appreciate this story and your writing. Even though I've grown to hate this version of Axel and I'm not sure I can see Roxas ever falling for him :D
Still, I hope they'll eventually get a happy(-ish?) ending.
I've been a fan of your fics for as long as I've been a KH fan, so since forever, and I want to thank you for bringing my favorite characters to life. And for all the years I've read fanfics, I've only seen a couple of authors to ever come close to your level of writing.

Someday girl... Someday I want answers.

Well, now I can only anxiously await the next chapter, whenever it may occur.

And as Axel grows more confused and soon desperate and suspicious, Roxas too similarly changes. And he may succeed in ruining whatever good graces Sora had been working towards. Not like it was a solid plan. After all, if you can't plan alongside and with your other half, you are essentially wandering blind.

Sora is fabulous in this story. Wow.

And dang if Roxas won't end up ruining it purely on accident.

I am so scared for Roxas. This is a very realistic approach to having someone like Axel do this to a person. This insanity, the helplessness...it is terrifying. But I am mostly scared for if Roxas has a full grey episode, for what could occur then when he is, I suspect, most similar to how he was before the mind altering.

And people wonder why Roxas always seems angry at Axel all the time in anything ever. Well, this whole chapter is prime example material.

Axel is a fricking freak. But man you have written it so well. Roxas is doing just what he should now, being rather logical. Man.

Oh boy is Roxas being screwed by everyone wow. Lol Sora has decent conversations with Axel haha.

Axel is creepy as frick, and I'm extremely concerned as to how Roxas is ever supposed to escape without dying. Seriously. This is sad.

Oh man. Wow. So...the same...wow.

I am impressed. At least one person knows what is going on and is rooting for Roxas with full knowledge.

Also this version of Axel is purely despicable.

As promised, Axel has taken what he calls rightfully his. And I though I am saddened to see the friends broken up now, I fear more so for Roxas who obviously doesn't have any 'best scenarios' right now.

Well it does feel as though things will end soon. But only one thing is for sure.

No good will come of Roxas becoming what Axel wants. No good at all. That grey nothingness...for anybody to prefer that over a real person, imprinted existance or not, is not cool.

Thus Axel is not the good guy.

This chapter was fabulous in every way. From top to bottom, the plot worked, the running gag milk was good, and everything just clicked. I am absolutely certain Roxas should not return with Axel if the man /likes/ Roxas all grey and horrific. That is obviously not good for Roxas, and not what he wants. Now things get interesting as Roxas will have to avoid being taken, or having his friends killed, by Axel.

Hopefully Riku won't have to pull him out of the matrix for it, ha.
