LOL! Just like Mr. Todd to suggest poppies. Anything that's red, of course he would like. Haha, it's a good thing he didn't say yes to roses, Mrs. Lovett probably would have ended up getting yellow ones or something else brightly coloured XD

Not a bad oneshot, I liked it and thought that Lovett and Todd were in character, I will say however I noticed a few gramatical/punctuation errors, but not so much that it was unreadable. Hope you write more and thanks for sharing.

Ha, loved this. Very in character. I love how Sweeney was just talking to get Mrs. Lovett to shut up, and how you wrote that his only color was red and how he wanted wilted flowers. ) And Mrs. Lovett's kinda reality check about Mr. Todd being not very nice and not in love with her.

As for prompt ideas... I don't have any specific ideas but another oneshot with Todd and Lovett in it would be great!

Wow...Todd reminds me so much of Edward, it's almost unsettling. Edward isn't as bloodthirsty though.

I just realized how stupid that statement was.

I mean, Edward isn't as malicious towards other people. Not even during his rebellious phase, I'm sure.
