This was really cute! I wanted to hate Jonas at first. Considering who he was replacing, but I grew very fond of him. And I feel bad admiting this, but I wouldn't have minded it if Daniel never came back. I'm in the process of a Sam/Jonas fic myself. I always thought they'd be sweet together. Even though I personally prefer Sam/Daniel fics.

I thought I'd stopped shipping Sam/Jonas years ago, but I have to admit, I still find them unbearably cute! I love it; great job :)

Um,... Per canon Jonas leaving SG1 was HIS decision. During 'Homecoming' it's made clear that Daniel has no issues with Jonas staying. And as was pointed out in Season Eight, there's no rule that says SG1 has to have exactly 4 members, no more and no less. TPTB just didn't won't to pay the salaries for 5 leads.

And any time you code as story as romance, you NEED to post the pairing in the summary. And you also need to add that it's AU, since per canon Abydos WAS destroyed in 'Full Circle' *sniff* and Daniel returned in 'Fallen'. Jonas left in 'Homecoming' on the grounds that his people needed him. And given that they're known as "The Planet of the Idiots" in some fandom circles, he may have been right.
