BeTrueToThyself chapter 1 . 2/16/2014
That was cool.
Niji Hitomi Kabra chapter 1 . 5/27/2012
This has some of the best philosophy I've read regarding the zanpakutou. I can identify a few of the speakers, such as Hyourinmaru, and possibly Senbonzakura. Perhaps Ryuujin Jakka, and I think Sougyo no Kotowari, but other than that, they others are interestingly vague. It makes for an enrapturing story. I only wish I could have a more clear mental image of just who is who, as the one I picture as Senbozakura could also easily be Zangetsu, and I had thought Ryuujin Jakka was a dragon, though conceivably he could be a phoenix. In any case, great job!

To be completely honest, I do not fully understand this composition. It seems to me as if you wrote this with that intention in mind, and if it was truly your intent, you have succeeded. The language and imagery you use is amazing. Even though I don't understand it, I /understand/ it. It's almost poetry. I absolutely love it.

LoquaciousQuark chapter 1 . 2/23/2010
Oh man, I cannot tell you how amazing this is. I adore this kind of mythic, high-fantasy style, and you pull it off so well it's just astounding. And it suits the zanpakutou just perfectly; I can't tell you how much I loved the way they speak in this fic. Frankly, there were a couple turns of phrase you used that just blew me away: "nightswimming fish," "slow and exultant love in the faces of cliffsides," and "The brave became wise, and the mad became wise" were my favorites by far.

I got chills so many times reading this, and it's not even that long. Just beautiful.
Laurie Bunter chapter 1 . 7/26/2008
The beauty of this piece has rendered me incoherent with delight.

* falls over dead*

You make me like and crave the cosmology of Bleach now, instead of despising it.
