![]() ![]() Really good one 3 |
![]() ![]() This was beautiful and heartbreaking. The pain and grief. Poor boys... Well done and thank you. I really love your stories :) |
![]() ![]() ![]() Oh, this is so sad! Made me cry! I missed this as I began reading your fics. This is so completely moving and utterly tragic. The show gave us the terribly sad scene at the funeral pyre, but this fills in the gap between John's death and his hunter's funeral. Those poor boys! |
![]() ![]() ![]() This is a good, sad piece ... right after Dad died, how Sam made it through the next several hours. Don't know how Dean made it ... can understand why he'd want to sleep, to escape. To not feel, or say the words.. Dad is dead. |
![]() ![]() ![]() The grief in this one is so clear and strong. I had to pause a little bit while reading because my eyes were starting to tear up. The broken sentences that trail off into silence, the vague, tenuous hold on things that other people are saying, it all fits together to create the mood you wanted... His brother looked beyond tired, like he was just /pretending at living/. |
![]() ![]() ![]() This is amazing, a true masterpiece, so poignant. You got perfectly both boys grief and could feel Sam's pain, having to fill out the forms then being given and looking through their dad's meagre belongings the hospital gave him. Can so understand why he needed the physical contact with Dean and think Dean needed it too, just the physical presence of his brother as they had lost so much. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Well wow this was just so emotional. I'm used to your marvelous writing by now but I can't help but be awed by your consistent treatment of the little, almost forgotten moments that so many times get lost in the big picture. So many times in the rush to get to the next big moment, we forget to just breathe. This was what this story was about to me. The hard breathes of loss and devastation that follow when you lose someone. The minutia that is necessary, unavoidable and yet so draining. The dialogue in this was terse but the impact was felt througout the whole piece. Good job. Stephanie |
![]() ![]() ![]() I'd like to tell you exactly how good this was, but I'm all out of words. The last sentence was magic, of course. |
![]() ![]() ![]() This was really a perfect tag to the ending of that episode. Perfect. Good job! |
![]() ![]() ![]() "sniff" "sob" If you were intending to project the quietness of profound grief, you achieved your goal. It's an awful time, going through a bag like that when it's still so raw. Beautiful brother moment at the end. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Wow! I have a feeling that it was Dean that cried because of his reaction in the next episode. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Wow, poignant, powerful, heartbreaking. Loved the ending. |
![]() ![]() ![]() I so loved this story. It fills in the gaps left at the end of the sho. Sam and Dean grieving in their on way, remembering their Dad in their on way. |
![]() ![]() ![]() This literally stole my breath and the last sentence brought instant, and completely unexpected, tears to my eyes. Beautiful, beautiful job. |
