Yes, you wrote this a while ago, but I've just read the whole thing in one go and it's, quite simply, amazing!

It's so different from any of Lost fic I've ever read. There's so many aspects I love!

1. For starters, making Ben and Locke the villains was a great move. those two working together as the evil duo just really works. They're both men who don't want to leave the island, and try to keep others from leaving. Very true to both their characters.

2. OMG, I can't believe Ben killed Juliet! Wtf! I still can't wrap my head around it... I don't know how I feel about this. Juliet's one of my fave characters, but her dying in this way makes total sense and I really enjoyed this aspect of the story. Ben murdering her seems fitting given his possessive nature of her. I just wish we could know a little bit more about why he killed her, was it because she betrayed his people? Was it out of jealousy?
I just wanted Jack and Ben to have a proper confrontation about the whole thing- coz you'd think Jack would want to kill Ben after killing one of his closest friends.

3. The fertility storyline was well written and explained. That really ties into the season 3 storyline.

4. Jack and Kate. You write them perfectly. You never make their encounters cheesy or out of character. I'm glad they made it off the island together.
